Cornwall Munch

A munch is the ideal place to
meet members old and new and to discuss anything and everything. It costs nothing to attend.
The
details for the munch are as follows:
Venue:
Vertigo Bar
Address: 15 St Marys Street Truro,
Cornwall TR1 2AA
Parking:
there is ample nearby parking. I would suggest the car park off Old Bridge street, just down from the cathedral.
Directions : Park in Cathedral car park (as previously) walk out facing the cathedral,
turn immediately left for 200 yards then at the junction turn left for another 100 yards and Vertigo is on your left.
Time;
from 7:30pm, i.e. I will be there from then, nursing a pint of lemonade, though you may arrive at your leisure. Once I get
a better idea of when people are arriving, I may push back the start time, but that is for the future and I will let you all
know well in advance.
How to identify us:
There will be the traditional street atlas on the table (consider
it a homage!!!).

Meet and Greet:
At the moment it will be me fulfilling the duties of this one, though if I can persuade a couple or one of our lovely ladies
to co-host the munch or volunteer for this job then hopefully we can have a female meet and greeter. Again, if/when this changes
I will update accordingly.
About the venue:
Vertigo offers spacious surroundings and is outstandingly
well furnished leading to a high level of comfort. There are multi-rooms which are open to all although we have kindly been
given the use of a private room which is up the stairs on the left.
There is even a beautiful illuminated
garden should anyone like to sit outside in the warmer months. The garden is also the designated smoking area and yes it has
patio heaters.
The staff are very friendly and their service is top class.
Food
is available at this venue too. For a menu please see their website
hereAs this is a bar, dress should be appropriate, in the words of one of the owners, "dress
should be appropriate for Truro". My view is that it should be smart/casual, i.e. nothing kinky and not too much flesh!
As I have stated before, this is not a play event and is just a social.
